The 12th International Working Conference on Stored Product Protection (IWCSPP) will be held October 7-11, 2018 in Berlin, the capital of Germany (conference venue: Hotel Maritim Pro Arte, Friedrichstr. 151, 10117 Berlin). The IWCSPP is the biggest international conference on all aspects of stored product Integrated Pest Management (IPM). The aim of the coming meeting is “Improved stored product protection by cooperation to reduce losses and hunger”.
Typical topics are biology, behavior and detection of stored product pests, microbiology, mycotoxins and food safety, stored product engineering, preventive measures, monitoring techniques, fumigation, modified atmospheres, non-chemical control, traditional methods, residual insecticides (natural and synthetic), integrated post-harvest management, quarantine and regulatory aspects. Cooperation and networking experiences will be an additional topic at this meeting.
Travel grants may be available for participants who will give an oral presentation and hand in a full paper, in case their travel costs are not covered by other sources.
