The 19th International Symposium on Biocontrol and Biotechnology, Warsaw, Poland, September 7-9, 2023
The Organizing Committee, in cooperation with Harbin Institute of Technology, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, and Warsaw University of Life Sciences, is pleased to invite you to attend the ISBB 2023 which will be held at Warsaw University of Life Sciences in Warsaw, Poland on September 7-9, 2023.
This Symposium is a forum for scientists and researchers from different countries to share their views and discuss their advanced research work in Biocontrol and Biotechnology.
In a fast-growing and nutritionally challenged World, Biocontrol and Biotechnology play a vital role. Wherever the priority is applying sustainable, nonchemical plant protection methods or alternative energy sources, research and collaboration are urgently needed. Our goal for the coming ISBB 2023 is to create an inclusive platform for scientists and students to exchange their knowledge and experiences in these fields. This will be an excellent opportunity to build academic relationships and scientific cooperation between scientists from different countries.
The 19th ISBB 2023 aims to bring together academic scientists, researchers, and scholars to exchange and share their experiences and results on all aspects of Pests Biocontrol and Biotechnology.
The 19th International Symposium on Biocontrol and Biotechnology will be held in cooperation with Harbin Institute of Technology, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, and Warsaw University of Life Sciences at Warsaw University of Life Sciences in Warsaw, Poland, on September 7-9, 2023. The symposium will start on September 7th in the morning, and for two days, we will have the opportunity to exchange our scientific achievements and share our experiences. On September 9th, a guided tour of the Old Town in Warsaw is planned.
The main theme of the conference is “Biocontrol and biotechnology for sustainable development”. Emphasizing the search for plant production methods that minimize the adverse impact on the environment, biodiversity, and the quality of human life, we would like to present the achievements of science supporting sustainable development in agriculture and food production. We invite you to exchange achievements that are the result of research addressing subjects closely related to the theme of the symposium; these are:
Biodiversity as a source of biocontrol agents
Biotechnological approach to biocontrol
Plant pest management
Green energy and zero-waste production
Other areas related to biocontrol and biotechnology for sustainable development.
The organizers offer the opportunity of publishing the results presented during the Symposium in the form of articles. Full paper selected will be published in Current Applied Science and Technology, a journal indexing in Scopus, Q4.
